The short answer

Brat green is #8ACE00 in hex, or rgb(138, 206, 0). That is the value most often quoted for the cover of Charli XCX’s Brat, and it is the one to use when you want the image to match the album at a glance.

This generator defaults to #8ACE00. Many other tools ship a brighter lime, #97EE3B instead; on a phone screen both read as “brat”, but side by side the brighter one is noticeably lighter and slightly more yellow.

For print, #8ACE00 converts to roughly C 33 M 0 Y 100 K 19, but printers rarely hit that green exactly — ask for a proof if the colour has to be right.

How to use the Brat green

  1. 01

    Open the colour picker

In the generator, the background colour row ends with a colour field. That field accepts any hex value, not just the presets.

  2. 02

    Paste #8ACE00

Type the hex with or without the hash. The preview updates immediately, so you can compare it against the preset lime.

  3. 03

    Set the text to black

#000000 gives the strongest contrast on #8ACE00. White text on this green is hard to read and rarely looks like the album.

  4. 04

    Check it small

Scale the preview down to thumbnail size. If the text turns into a grey smear, reduce the font size or tighten the letter spacing.

  5. 05

    Export at 2000px

A large export keeps the edges crisp after upload. Download the PNG rather than taking a screenshot.

Questions about Brat green

What is the Brat green hex code?
#8ACE00, which is rgb(138, 206, 0). In print terms it is around C33 M0 Y100 K19.
Is Brat green #8ACE00 or #97EE3B?
Both are used online. #8ACE00 is the value quoted for the album artwork; #97EE3B is a brighter lime that became popular with fan tools. Neither is wrong, but #8ACE00 sits closer to the original.
Why does my Brat green change after uploading?
Social platforms re-compress images and some apply their own colour profile, which shifts saturated greens. Export larger, stay in PNG, and avoid re-saving the file in another app before posting.
Can I use a hex the presets do not include?
Yes. The colour field is a standard colour input, so any hex works, including #8ACE00.
